When leading a team, don't just provide direction, help your team learn and grow. Encourage and drive them to be the best they can be. Their success can lead to your success. That could be through recognition of your leadership skills, or the people you encouraged moved up in their career and remember who helped them.
Contact ResumeWho am I?
It's funny, for as technically inclined as I am, most of my work experience is not in a tech role like IT support. I've been working for 20 years, and roughly half of that at most has been in a technical role. Most of my work experience has been in some kind of sales role. I spent the first 10 years of my work history doing consumer sales. Now I was selling technology (phones, computers, etc), but I didn't have a technical role.
While I wasn't working in a tech role, I've always been involved in technology in one way or another. Whether it was learning HTML/CSS on my own in high school, taking self-paced online courses to learn programming languages, or most recently, getting my BS degree in IT and also starting to get into home-labbing and virtualization. I was taking classes online through Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), who was very supportive. I took classes part time most of the time, which unfortunately slowed me down. However, I was also working full-time, typically 50-60 hours a week or more. Even with the long hours at work, I managed to graduate Magna Cum Laude, with a 3.8 GPA.
I'm actually still with that company now. I've been with them since 2016 and have worked my way up. I was lucky enough to find an employer who encouraged me to learn, but also rewarded me for it and gave me lots of opportunities to learn and grow. I'll always be grateful to them for all the support and encouragement they provided me. I've always strived to show my gratitude to them by working as best as I can. Those efforts haven't gone unnoticed. In 2020, I won one of our company's first recognition awards, the "Extreme Ownership Champion", for my dedication. In 2022, I was a winner of our first ever "Epic Achievers Club", which recognizes the highest achievers in the company.

This is a list of some of the projects I've completed. Currently these are all from my time at SNHU and some are projects I completed at work. These demonstrate thought processes necessary to compete various tasks, from project management and planning to execution. As well as some of the skills listed in the Skills section above. I have some more recent projects will be posting to show what I've learned of the other topics, such as python. This website itself serves as a project as well. I've been using it to learn more HTML/CSS/JS and other frontend technologies.
