Well that took less time than I thought

You'd think I'd learn to stop procrastinatig on things

So...I have a bad habit of procrastinating. I have always done my homework at the last minute, sometimes in school. Even in college, I would delay until I had to do all my assignments right before they were due.

This habit has carried over into my self-paced learning. Aaaand since there's no due date, I just stop doing them sometimes. I have multiple HTML/CSS/JS classes I still need to finish.

Sadly, on top of my procrastination, I get bored with topics when they are simple. But, I also don't like leaving things unfinished. I know, I know, I've got a lot of contradicting habits.

Hurry up and wait

I've been procrastinating on building the photography section on here since I started the redesign. My Instagram was deleted for some unknown reason back in February and so I decided to showcase my photography here.

I started looking around at various templates and decided on the one I'm using now. It is called Multiverse by HTML5 UP. I have made a few tweaks to the style to make it my own.

Adding some additional transitions and tweaking the color scheme to match that of my site. Now, I've got some photos uploaded. It'll probably be mostly pictures taken on my DSLR. I'll keep my phone photos on my new Instagram.

“It’s not that we have a short time to live, but that we waste a lot of it.”

Aaaand now i just realized I somehow broke the mobile menu on here. That's annoying. Not sure how I did that. Fixed now! Somehow, I deleted an ID from the menu...which got replicated on every page since I am reusing the header.

In closing

I still have a few more features I want to add. I need to expand on my portfolio from SNHU. I need to add the additional coding projects I've done. Then again, creating this website from scratch is a project in itself.

After I get the rest of the features and pages added, I'll move onto v2 of my website...well technically v5 if you include the redesigns on Wordpress. But I'll consider those to be practice sites.

That will be to use more advanced coding. Django, Vite, Python, etc. I definitely need to modularize the layout and design of this. I don't want to keep having to just copy/paste my HTML.

Using more advanced frontend tools will also help show off my chops as a coder, and my ability to learn new things quickly

...Assuming I don't procrastinate too much...
